The House by the Park

This full renovation of a family home centred around creating a more connected and functional living space. The clients wanted to open up the kitchen to the living room, where their two young daughters spend most of their time playing, allowing the parents to stay involved in family life, even during meal preparation. A glazed partition was introduced to meet this need: it visually links the spaces while gently defining them. The lower part of the glass is frosted, cleverly shielding the living room from kitchen clutter and maintaining a clean, uncluttered atmosphere. Natural tones and wood finishes create a light, airy feel, enhanced by soft pops of colour in the decor. A custom-built dining bench adds to the sense of warmth and conviviality, while also offering discreet storage solutions to keep the space effortlessly tidy.
