The Family cocoon

This basement renovation transformed an underused level of a family home into a flexible and multifunctional living space. The challenge was to accommodate several uses within a limited footprint, including a family lounge, home office, reading corner, play area, cinema space, and occasional guest bedroom. The design focused on creating distinct yet connected zones, supported by smart storage solutions to keep the space practical and easy to live in. The overall atmosphere draws inspiration from a warm Brooklyn loft aesthetic, with subtle industrial touches and enveloping tones, creating a space that feels both cosy and characterful.
